The short version: WOW doesn't collect anything. There's no sign-up, no analytics, and nothing about you or your family ever leaves your device.
WOW (wisdom, or whatever.) is an iPhone and iPad app of short, ready-to-run conversations for a parent to have with their kids. The app is used by a parent — kids are the audience for a session, not users of the app itself. It has no login, no accounts, and no way for anyone, of any age, to enter personal information into it.
Nothing. WOW makes no network requests. There is no server behind this app, no analytics software, no advertising, and no crash-reporting service. We have no way to see how you use the app, and no record of you exists anywhere outside your own device.
A small amount of information stays on your phone or iPad, using Apple's standard on-device storage, so the app remembers your setup between sessions:
This information is never transmitted anywhere. It stays on your device, the same way a note in your Reminders app does, and is removed if you delete WOW.
WOW is a tool for a parent to prepare and run with their kids present — it isn't listed in the App Store's Kids Category, and it isn't designed for a child to use on their own. Because the app collects no information from anyone, it collects none from children either.
WOW includes no third-party software development kits, ad networks, or analytics tools of any kind. Nothing about your use of the app is shared with anyone, because nothing is collected to share.
If WOW ever starts collecting or sharing information, this page will say so, and the "last updated" date above will change. As of the date at the top of this page, that hasn't happened.
Questions about this policy, or about WOW generally, are welcome.
